Aldi scraps plastic packaging from own-branded range of Easter eggs

Aldi has recently announced it is removing plastic packaging from all of its own-branded chocolate eggs for Easter this year.

The budget supermarket has scrapped the plastic casing that supports the chocolate eggs after redesigning the packaging on their own-branded range.

They are one of nine seasonal lines that the German supermarket has made plastic-free ahead of Easter this year, which officially arrives on Sunday, April 17.
