Aldi has brought back its popular spider catcher, that claims to keep the pesky creepy crawlies out of the home.
Shoppers who get a lot of spiders in their home can now get them out with Aldi's latest catcher device, and it's said to be harmless. This time of year households start to see an increase of the eight-legged arthropods as it gets colder and mating season, or 'spider season' as it's often referred to, approaches.
The spiders we are likely to see on our window sills, walls, behind curtains, and more, are males looking for a female mate, who tend to stick to their webs. Between now and the end of October, UK households will likely see an influx of spiders.

Many of us will be running around trying to get rid of them (in the most humane way possible) whether it's with a glass and piece of paper, or a dustpan and brush. But trying to get them out without getting close is often tricky, and 'hair raising'.
But with Aldi's latest product, people with arachnophobia don't have to worry about scrambling to get the spider out if they find one in their home. The Spider Catcher, priced at £8.99, allows shoppers to pick up the spider (at a good arms length away) and gently place it outside unharmed.
The 60cm catcher has arm like bristles at the end which gently close over the spider as you squeeze the handles together, allowing you to take it out of the house and into the garden. The catcher is also said to be great for reaching into tight corners, ceilings and window sills.
It can be found online at Aldi for £8.99 but its does cost an extra £2.95 for standard delivery. One shopper said: "It's a handy gadget to have at home. I hate spiders but I don’t like to kill them - this has made it so much easier to catch them and put them outside."
