Aldi shoppers have heaped praise on a SpecialBuy that’s perfect for a heatwave, calling it ‘worth every penny’.
The budget retailer has listed the item as one of its SpecialBuys available in stores today (Sunday, July 10). Many shoppers who snapped it up when it was available last summer, have taken the time to give it a five star review on the Aldi website.
The Summer Waves Unicorn Giant Sprinkler is a 7ft tall inflatable sprinkler with a built in water sprayer that connects to a standard garden hose. Aldi is also selling a similar 7ft Dinosaur Giant Sprinkler. Both items are priced at £39.99 and are available online.

Several shoppers commented on how much their children and grandchildren have enjoyed using it in summer months. One person said they bought the dinosaur sprinkler for their grandkids and “they love it”.
A second shopper added: “We bought this for our dog and he loves it. Well worth the money.” A third reviewer wrote: “Absolutely fantastic, my niece [heart] it, her face was priceless. Thank you.”
A fourth said: “Getting loads of fun with this my grandchildren love this”. And a fifth added: “This was bought for my grandkids and it was worth every penny”.
More shoppers took to the reviews section after buying one of the giant inflatables. One person wrote: “A seven foot unicorn sprinkler admittedly isn’t my most rational or sensible purchase but life is short, buy the unicorn”.
Another said: “Fantastic sprinkler! I used it for a kids party and everyone loves it, the kids were even riding it and it is still in perfect condition”.
And yet another Aldi shopper who previously snapped it up at a lower price said: “This is brilliant! I bought it for my nieces and I honestly didn't expect it to be as good as it is. It's massive and the sprinkler head on it is really powerful...I half expected it to be a trickle! Very well made too...amazing for £30!”
