Aldi is bringing back its much-loved Kevin the Carrot toy this week to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
As well as a patriotic version of the cuddly vegetable, the supermarket is launching a whole host of celebratory friends, including members of the royal family.
Costing only £3.99 each, the new plush toys will be available to pre-order online from May 22 and in stores from May 26.
The limited-edition toys will also be offered in two bundle choices for £15.95 each, meaning shoppers can get their hands on their favourite ones without breaking the bank.
Kevin will be joined by a series of royally appointed friends, including The Queen herself wearing an iconic regal purple skirt suit, Prince Charles who dons his traditional medal adorned scarlet tunic and Her Majesty’s beloved Corgis in a choice of brown or grey.
The plush vegetable toy has gone down a storm with Aldi shoppers since he first launched six years ago.
With over 1.3m Kevins selling out in a one-week period last Christmas, and some Kevins selling for up to £1,000 on eBay in previous years, it’s safe to say that Jubilee Kevin is bound to cause excitement amongst customers this summer.
As with all Aldi Specialbuys, fans of the nation’s iconic root vegetable better act fast if they want to get their hands on the limited-edition toys, as once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The limited-edition Kevin the Carrot Jubilee toys are available to pre-order online from the 22nd May, and will land in stores and online from the 26th May.
