Aldi's 'gorgeous' new £1.69 snack that combines two Christmas favourites

Aldi shoppers have been raving about a new festive snack that combines two Christmas favourites.

In the run-up to December 25, supermarkets have been unveiling limited edition items that are perfect for this time of year and Aldi is no different. And one product in its festive range has got customers talking.

Taking to a Facebook group dedicated to fans of the budget retailer, many shoppers have been praising a new item. Aldi is now selling Crestwood cranberry and camembert lattices, with a pack of two coming in at just £1.69. The product is described as: "Two puff pastry lattices filled with camembert cheese, quark cheese, ricotta cheese and sweetened cranberries".

Taking to Facebook, one shopper said: "Had these for tea last night and they were gorgeous. Pastry was light and crunchy and the filling was delicious. You often can't taste the cheese but you really could in these".
