Back in the heatwave of 2022 we were rushing to Aldi to snap up the Aldi cooling bedding range. This year, the mercury might not be soaring as high (yet) but we're stocking up on the £4 cooling pillowcases and duvets landing in stores this weekend in preparation.
If you're already a hot sleeper then a cooling mattress topper or investing in cooling bedding is a good idea ahead of summer. However, temperatures don't have to soar upwards of 30 degrees outside to disrupt your sleep. The ideal temperature for sleep is 18 to 20 degrees, so even an average British summer evening can push you over this.
