Aldi's €3.99 'best toner ever' leaves users glowing, with absolutely no negative reviews

The world of ‘dupes’ is taking the internet by storm as affordable brands continuously release products that mirror the look and feel of some of the most expensive brands out there.

From perfumes and body creams to mascaras and lipsticks, there is always an almost identical and cheaper alternative for any expensive staple - if you look hard enough.

Recently, savvy shoppers have been raving about a particular Aldi product that’s the ‘best toner ever.’

The Lacura Healthy Glow Rose Toner - which is just €3.99 - is being compared to one of the most hyped beauty products in the industry from its packaging to the product inside: Pixi’s Glow Tonic, which retails for €24.

On the Aldi website, the product description reads: “This Lacura Healthy Glow Rose Toner is the perfect simple way to brighten your complexion.

“Smooth over your face morning and evening to remove impurities and leave skin soft and smooth. An ideal treat to add to your skincare routine.”

Aldi’s version is just a fraction of the price but utilises a lot of the same ingredients as Pixi’s, including Glycolic Acid and they’re both alcohol-free and vegan-friendly.

The €3.99 toner has been receiving plenty of positive reviews from customers, with almost no negative feedback. One person said: “I love this toner. Smells amazing, no breakouts. It does the job.”

A second person said: “This is my go to toner, not available in store, so when l purchase l buy two! Love the smell, the compliments l get about my face is thanks to this. Don’t stop stocking this.”

A third added: “I have bought this product and I loved it so much I ordered 5 more. It has a beautiful fragrance. Skin is soft and hydrated.” A fourth chimed in: “Very pleased with the toner on the skin, a lovely smell and excellent price.”

Pixi's Glow Tonic isn't the only beauty buy Aldi has a dupe for; the supermarket also sells copycat versions of Jo Malone’s cologne for just a snippet of the price.

This is one of the main products that has put Aldi on the beauty map as many rushed to buy their €5.99 perfume, which is part of their ‘Hotel Collection’ which sells candles, reed diffusers, hand wash and body lotion.

Aldi has also created a similar version of Sand & Sky's €43, Instagram-famous pink clay mask. The €6.99 product is a great mask for minimising pores at a bargain price.

They also have dupes for the elemis cleansing balm, benefit mascaras, NARS concealer, and more under the Lacura brand - all of which continue to receive rave reviews online.
