Aldi's 27p chocolate dessert 'with barely any calories' that 'tastes like Dairy Milk'

A new Aldi 27p dessert is drawing rave reviews from shoppers who say it is a dieter's delight. The Brooklea Milk chocolate Light Choc Pots cost £1.09 for a pack of four.

But despite the price tag they are said to taste every bit as good as other brands, according to a TikTok video. And the original poster even said they taste "just like Dairy Milk", according to MyLondon.

Posting her video ellamayhought0n showed her shop of strawberries, blueberries and kiwi along with two varieties of the dessert, a caramel one and the 64 calorie chocolate version. Saying the find would "change your life" she added: "64 calories and not only that, they're absolutely delicious".

Doing a taste test on the chocolate one she said they look like mousse adding: "They taste just like Dairy Milk flake puddings. But 64 calories. Run, don't walk."

Her video clocked almost 26,000 views and more than 100 comments - many from people who were in agreement with her. Mel posted: "Nooo it’s hard enough finding the protein puddings don’t make these sell out too. The caramel ones get me through."

Nicki added: "Legendary things. Got them last week and they're amazing."

But Leigh had a different problem with the desserts writing: "Apart from my brain goes something like this 'well they're only 60 something calories so......I'll eat all 4 at once!'". And Kelly added: "The issue is, I eat 4 in a day."

Others had ideas for eating the puds. Rosie suggested: "Put squirty cream on it. Game changer dessert for less than 100 cals." Faith Alice advised: "Dip your strawbs in ! Game changer."

Angela had a slightly more controversial idea. She told her: "They're nice if you dip your crisps in them."
