Supermarket chain Aldi is hiring up to 755 people in the North East - with salaries of more than £63,000 for some jobs.
The UK’s fifth largest supermarket is recruiting for positions across Tyneside, Wearside, Northumberland and Durham in a drive that is part of a national expansion. A breakdown of the jobs show 247 roles are available across stores in Sunderland, Wallsend, and North Shields, while there are 359 vacancies in Durham and 149 in Northumberland.
The highest salaried jobs at £63,245 are in the chain’s Durham stores while roles paying up to £41,235 are available across Tyneside and Wearside. In Northumberland Aldi is recruiting for jobs paying £11.10 per hour.
