Aldi is set to open a new €18m store in Clonsilla after receiving planning permission from Fingal County Council.
The 1,315sqm store will create 30 permanent positions upon opening, while up to 50 jobs will be supported during the construction period. Eight electric vehicle charging points are planned, along with 20 bike parking space and 83 free-to-use car parking spaces for customers.
The supermarket chain recently announced it is examining 25 sites as potential locations for 11 new stores to be opened in Dublin. New stores in Adamstown and Cabra are due to open early this year, joining the existing 24 stores and 670 employees they have across the capital.
