Aldi has once again been crowned Christmas Retailer of the Year at the industry-renowned Quality Food Awards (QFA), marking its third win in as many years. The supermarket also picked up a further 48 awards and commendations for its 2022 Christmas offering, including the Best Mince Pies and Best Pigs in Blankets.
The QFAs sees products are judged by professionals in the industry.

The news comes as Aldi unveils its 2022 Christmas range, including Specially Selected Lobster Tails (£14.99, 254g, on sale 19 December 19) available with Prosecco & Lemon or Black Garlic Butter, Truffle & Black Pepper or a classic Thermidor. There is also Specially Selected Scallop Gratins (£3.29, 200g, on sale December 21) with a thermidor gratin with a cheddar cheese, white wine and brandy sauce, or a gratin with Veuve Monsigny Brut Champagne sauce.
Aldi also has 40-day matured Specially Selected Exquisite British Wagyu Wing Rib Joint with Butter Melts and British Loaded Yorkshires filled with a pork, sage and onion stuffing and topped with a pig in blanket.
Aldi’s Plant Menu No Turkey Crown Topped with a Smoky Vegan Bacon Crumb was crowned the winner of QFA’s Vegan Main category.
Aldi’s Christmas range is also full of sweet treats, including the winner of the Best Mince Pie, the Specially Selected Mince Pies. For chocoholics, there is Aldi’s Specially Selected Belgian Chocolate Yule Log (£7.99, 755g, on sale December 21).
