Aldi launches 'cost of living' saving Specialbuys including cosy £6 product

While the New Year has finally arrived, there are still freezing cold temperatures and a cost of living crisis to contend with.

However, Aldi has pulled the rabbit out the hat with their brand new Specialbuys, reports Manchester Evening News. The energy-efficient range is designed to help households keep warm while saving on their gas and electricity bills.

With uncertainty still lingering around the UK, Aldi has hoped that their new products with provide their customers with some comfort.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, said: "Trying to keep warm while keeping an eye on the pennies this winter is a big challenge - that’s why we’ve launched Aldi’s first ever Heat Your Home for Less Specialbuys range".

One of the most popular products has to be the Silentnight electric blankets, available in single, double and king. These were priced at £19.99 online but have already sold out - they will arrive in stores from January 8.

Aldi's Long Hot Water Bottle - priced at £8.99 - has also returned to the website, with a 1.7 litre capacity and is sized at over twice a normal hot water bottle. Foot Warmer Hot Water Bottles are also available online, priced at £5.99.

An Easy Home Heated Airer is set to hit stores on January 8 too, priced at £39.99. These have been a well sought-after product during the winter, so you'll have to be at your local Aldi early enough to nab one.

All of these products are available to view on the Aldi website, with the hot water bottles still in stock.
