Budget retailer, Aldi, is expanding its network of stores in Nottinghamshire and with that expansion comes new jobs. The supermarket says it is now looking to fill an array of roles from store assistants upwards.
The retailer claims to be the "UK’s best paying supermarket". Aldi pays all store assistants at least £10.10 an hour nationally (the rate is £11.55 for those inside the M250) and adds that it "remains the only supermarket to offer paid breaks, which for the average store colleague is worth £750 a year".
Now the UK’s fifth-largest supermarket, the next store to open in Nottingham will be in Netherfield. Work is well underway for the brand new store off Colwick Loop Road.
