Aldi has erected a huge pink billboard in the city centre that gives out free glasses of wine when it's hot. It's already proving popular with shoppers, who have flocked to get a free drink in the sun.
With the North West identified by Aldi as the UK’s biggest rosé-loving region, the supermarket has set up a billboard in the centre of Manchester ahead of National Rosé Day (10 June). The taps will pour out free glasses as temperatures hit 19.2C or above .
The Aldi billboard is in St Ann’s Square. It will be there on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 June.
