With two long weekends in a row coming up, Aldi has revealed its opening times over the early May and King’s coronation bank holidays. Normal opening hours will remain in place at Aldi’s stores on Saturdays and Sundays, it confirmed.
Stores will open as usual, but close at the earlier time of 8pm on the bank holiday Mondays, May 1 and 8, in England and Wales, while stores in Scotland will be open until 10pm as usual. The opening times of some stores may vary, so customers should check their local store on Aldi’s website.
A spokesperson for the company said: "Aldi has everything shoppers need for their Bank Holiday plans, thanks to its vast selection of delicious food and drink. Whether it’s a BBQ with family and friends or a street party to see in the new King, shoppers can enjoy a wide array of fresh meat, vegetarian and vegan options, sides, sweet treats and an assortment of celebratory drinks, all at amazing Aldi prices."
It also said that click and collect is also available to customers at more than 200 Aldi stores. Shoppers at select stores can visit groceries.aldi.co.uk to browse the supermarket’s range online and book a time for collection. On arrival their shopping will be brought to their car and loaded into their boot by Aldi colleagues.
