Budget supermarket giant Aldi has found itself in hot water with dog owners. The retailer has released a £2.99 SpecialBuy for dogs, but some people are finding it a little difficult to swallow.
A picture of the dog toy was shared online. It is a ribbed sweetcorn toy with a suction cup so you can stick it anywhere you want. For your dog, obviously.
The post, which was shared on Extreme Couponing and Bargains, said: "Aldi Are Selling Sweetcorn Shaped DOG Toys For £2.99." Good emphasis on the DOG there guys.

It wasn't long before the complaints started rolling in, and dog owners jokingly slammed it, suggesting it's not suitable for dogs at all, and looks highly 'offensive'.
Adam Leonard said: "Ribbed for extra pleasure." James Gibbons wrote: "What in the name of Anne Summers is this."
Charlene Fawcett laughed: "I’m sure A&E will be seeing lots of these." Becky Louise said: "Yeah… ‘for the dogs’… *sees suction pad at the bottom* definitely not for the dogs."
Lori Honey said: "Absolutely no one is purchasing that for there dogs." Ashleigh Winchester said: "You just know someone is going to end up in A&E saying they tripped up at this accidently got lodged in their rear end! Some people just can't train their dogs to put away their toys properly."
Georjy Cook commented: "'dog toy' yeh alright." Kevin Briggs said: "Ann summers selling similar dog toys."
Aldi has been contacted for comment.
