Major supermarkets across the UK will alter their opening hours on the bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III.
Most supermarkets have changed their opening times on Monday, May 8. But before you rush to the shops, it's worth knowing the opening hours to avoid wasting your time.
Here are the opening times for Aldi, ASDA, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's and Morrisons on May 8.

Asda
On May 8, most Asda stores will be open from 7am to 8pm.
In April, Asda announced that store colleagues scheduled to work on May 8, would be able to request a paid day off to participate in the ‘Big Help Out’ – a national day of volunteering to mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation.
Aldi
Aldi stores in England and Wales will be open from 8am to 8pm during the bank holiday.

Tesco
Most Tesco stores will open from 8am to 6pm on Monday.

M&S
All M&S Foodhalls will be open on May 8. This includes larger stores.
Liverpool's Church Street store is open from 9am to 8pm.
Sainsbury's
Most Sainsbury's will be open from 8am until 8pm. Smaller shops will be open from 7am until either 10pm or 11pm.
Morrisons
Most Morrisons will be open from 7am until 8pm.
