Cops will be carrying out extra patrols at a busy Glasgow park over the Easter weekend as Rangers and Celtic are set to go head-to-head in a clash on Saturday, April 8.
Police Scotland will be carrying out 'additional patrols' in Kelvingrove Park over the Easter festive weekend. The force is working alongside Glasgow City Council to ensure the Bank Holiday weekend runs smoothly.
Families are expected to flock to the popular park this weekend - which is expected to remain dry with sunny spells - as kids enjoy the break away from lessons and homework.

The extra measures also coincide with rivals Rangers and Celtic battling it out on the pitch tomorrow with kick off expected to get underway from 12.30pm.
As part of the council's bylaws, drinking alcohol in the park has also been banned.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "This weekend Police will be carrying out additional patrols within Kelvingrove Park, working with our Glasgow City Council colleagues to ensure it is a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.
"Please remember GCC bylaws prohibit the consumption of alcohol in the park."
