Albuquerque “nervous” as WTR leads into IMSA decider again

Albuquerque and his partner in the #10 WTR Acura ARX-05, Ricky Taylor, led the standings heading into last year’s Petit Le Mans finale, only to be pipped to the post by Action Express Racing Cadillac pair Felipe Nasr and Ricky Taylor in a final stint showdown.

Heading into this weekend’s title decider at Road Atlanta, Albuquerque and Taylor lead by a slender 19 points over Meyer Shank Racing Acura duo Oliver Jarvis and Tom Blomqvist, effectively creating a winner-takes-all scenario between the two ARX-05 crews.
