Anthony Albanese is "very hopeful" a trade dispute with China over Australian wine will be resolved, after a report was handed down by the World Trade Organisation.
It is understood a report into Australia's complaint about Beijing's punitive tariffs has been given to both sides.
As was the case with the organisation's review into the barley ban, the report will not be made public as the two nations have a number of weeks to consider the findings.
