ALBA has called for a Scottish constitution convention to be set up following the Supreme Court’s ruling on a second independence referendum.
The pro-independence party, led by former first minister Alex Salmond, has appealed for the move as the court hears the case this week on whether Holyrood has the legal power to hold a vote without agreement from the Westminster government.
The matter was referred to the court by Scotland’s Lord Advocate after former prime minister Boris Johnson said he would not consent to transfer powers to Holyrood under a Section 30 order.
