Alanna Kennedy has put pen to paper committing her future with Manchester City by signing a two-year contract extension keeping her at the club until June 2025. However, she sits out the remainder of the season through injury.
The 28-year-old moved to the Academy Stadium from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2021 and has since lifted the Continental Tyres League Cup and helped her side to reach last year's Vitality Women’s FA Cup final.
Kennedy said: “I’m really happy to be staying here at City – I’ve loved my time here so far. I feel like I still have a lot more to give on a personal level and for the team, so I’m looking forward to continuing our success here.
