Premier League legend and pundit Alan Shearer says a number of Liverpool players need to 'take responsibility' after another disappointing result over the weekend.
The Reds only managed a 3-3 draw against Brighton on Saturday afternoon and found themselves two goals down after 20 minutes. A brace from Roberto Firmino put them back on level terms before an own goal gave them an unexpected lead in the second-half.
However, Leandro Trossard completed his hat-trick late on and earned the visitors a deserved draw at Anfield. For Liverpool, it was their fourth draw of the season in the Premier League and they now sit ninth in the table, level on points with Brentford and Everton.

Shearer, who made over 400 appearances for Newcastle during his playing days, says Jurgen Klopp 's side looked 'lethargic' against Brighton and some of the big stars need to step up and take responsibility.
“Liverpool looked very leggy, lethargic and tired," he told the BBC's Match of the Day. "If it was a one-off you would sort of accept it but it has happened a few times this season.
“ Trent Alexander-Arnold has taken some criticism for his defending and rightly so at times before it hasn’t been good enough, but others need to take responsibility - (Virgil) Van Dijk, (Jordan) Henderson, (Joel) Matip, Thiago, Mo Salah. We’re so used to over the years looking at Liverpool and looking at the way they press with the high energy, there was none of that today.
“Liverpool at times couldn’t cope with them (Brighton). They should have been 4-0 down after half an hour.”
The Reds have a chance to put things right on Tuesday night when they welcome Rangers to Anfield in the Champions League. They then travel to face league leaders Arsenal away next Sunday.
