Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has claimed that Newcastle's run of four draws in their last five Premier League matches is 'not a cause for concern'.
The comments came after the Magpies ran out a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park against visitors West Ham following goals from Callum Wilson and Lucas Paqueta.
But form has been a recent talking point amongst fans - while they're delighted to be soaring so high up the league table, Newcastle have won just two of their six matches since returning from the winter break.
That period has also seen them drop points to Leeds United, league leaders Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

"It's ben four draws in five Premier League games for Newcastle with just two goals, Alan, is that any cause for concern?," Linker asked on BBC One's Match of the Day last night.
"No, not really," Shearer replied. "We got two in the semi-final and we're in the [Carabao Cup] Final so we'll be all right.
"This is a Premier League programme Alan," Lineker laughed back.
"I know that, we're fourth in the league, I'm not complaining too much, it's been an unbelievable season. I'm still confident," Shearer explained.
"When he came in this afternoon, he kept saying, 'We're going to win the league! We're going to win the league!'. Especially after Arsenal lost," Lineker said.
"I was excited, I was excited," Shearer said. "But lack of goals is probably the only concern with this Newcastle side. If you look at earlier on in the season, it was Almiron, who could score from almost anywhere, any angle.
"Callum got his goal tonight. There are others that I think need to chip in a bit more with their own goals but it's not a huge concern."
