Former Premier League striker Alan Shearer likes Liverpool's signing of Darwin Nunez.
Nunez completed his £85million transfer from Benfica to Anfield on Tuesday evening having passed a medical earlier in the day. The make up of the deal is a set fee of £64.1million (€75m) with a possible £21.3m (€25m) in add-ons depending on individual and club success over the next few years.
A clinical striker in his day, no player has scored more Premier League goals than Shearer who still holds the record of 260 goals and the now pundit took to social media to give his opinion on the biggest move of the summer transfer window so far. "Very good signing," Shearer tweeted alongside a thumbs up emoji.
