Alan Shearer has lifted the lid on what happened on the Newcastle United training ground in the days leading up to Temuri Ketsbaia's iconic celebration. The former Magpies midfielder bagged an injury-time winner against Bolton Wanderers in 1998 - and proceeded to vent his frustrations on an advertising board.
It was Shearer's knock-down that Ketsbaia was able to turn home, and the United legend was one of those tasked with retrieving the Georgian international's shirt from the crowd.
Shearer told the Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast: "He was a really nice guy but when he lost his temper, my god. He went berzerk.

"Kenny [Dalglish] took him outside a day before to say he was going to leave him out and you could see the steam coming off. We were all up there laughing and he chucked his phone.
"He couldn't chuck it at Kenny so he chucked it at the wall and his phone exploded. That was enough for the lads, you could hear the laughter of the lads. It was smashed to bits.
"That was the day beforehand. Then he's got the next day and of course, the game's not going to plan, he gets put on and he's proven his point.
"His top come off in front of the Gallowgate End and he's smashing the hoardings. Then he starts booting the hoarding and chucked his top into the crowd.
"That's it, your top's not coming back when you chuck it in. We had to virtually stand there and ask for his top to come back down.
"I'm pretty sure we went on a bonding trip a week or so afterwards, we went paintballing and you had to get a flag from one end to the other. Aaron Hughes, is protecting this flag for his team and he snuck up on him and he still had the hump a few days later.
"He was peppering him and shooting him from a yard in front of him. These things hurt don't they! He was Georgian and you wouldn't want to mess with him."
