Alan Shearer has launched a scathing attack on Manchester United's players following Saturday's defeat to Brighton.

United have endured an utterly miserable campaign this term, but it somehow got worse this weekend. United lost 4-0 to Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening after the club's gutless playing squad registered another embarrassing performance.

United went 1-0 goal down within 15 minutes in the match and capitulated just after half-time. Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard all get onto the scoresheet, in a memorable result for the south coast club.
