Alan Carr could become a baron after £3.25m Scottish castle purchase

Alan Carr may soon have more than a Celebrity Traitors winner’s title to his name, as he could also be addressed as a baron.

The comedian, 49, has reportedly secured the historic Ayton Castle in the Scottish Borders for £3.25million — and with it comes the opportunity to purchase the accompanying Barony of Ayton title, potentially making him “Lord of the Manor”.
