Akon has sparked outrage by declaring that men are "the divine kings of the universe" who women are only here to support.
The Mr Lonely singer shared his controversial views about gender roles in a recent appearance on the The Joe Budden Podcast.
He also insisted that men are able to make babies without women, claiming all they need is sperm and an incubator.
"Let me tell you the science of it,” he said. “A man right now can create life without a woman, but a woman cannot create life without a man.
"If I wanted to do it right now, I would shoot my sperm and put it in an incubator and give it nine months, even maybe less with today’s science, and a baby will be born.
"A woman can’t do that. So men we are the creators of life in actuality… We’re gods, we are the ones that create life."
The 49-year-old also claimed that African women compared to American women "treat you like a man, like a king.”
Akon, who is Senegalese-American,added: "They aren’t competing with you or fighting for equality because they understand that men and women could never be equal. They understand their roles.
"The roles there and very defined and very clean, here [the US] even if I say, ‘play your role and you play mine’, they say, ‘What the f**k you mean play my role? what role?’...
people actually need to stop asking akon things.

you could ask him the time and he’d be wrong every single time https://t.co/DiUGwTOoSl
“In Africa it’s very clear, the woman plays the role of the woman. As a woman, her role is to support the man.
“The men are the kings and the divine of this universe, a woman can never compare to the man.
"They have to understand that here in America,” he continued. “Here in America the men are afraid of their power....”
He also insisted that women are "naturally" made to endure the pain caused by men and stay loyal to them.
Technically all men could die off and women could repopulate the world with the dead mens frozen sperm. He had it backwards, but his ego is apparently blinding him from understanding how thing actually work🙃

Many took to social media to slam his views.
One said: “’It is shocking how many people believe that babies come from sperm and a womb. “As if your grandmother didn’t carry half of your DNA months before your mother was born. Sir!”
Another wrote: ‘Technically all men could die off and women could repopulate the world with the dead men’s frozen sperm.
“He had it backwards..” Another wrote: “I am flabbergasted! Akon. Sweetie. How do you not know how making babies work? Imagine being this loud and wrong in public?!”
Akon, whose last hit was 2007’s Smack That, has been making a host of controversial comments in recent months, which have helped bring him back into the limelight.
He recently received backlash for defending Kanye West over his anti-Semitic rants, declared that Nick Cannon was right to impregnate multiple women and revealed that he himself is in a polygamous relationship.
