Mumbai: Ajit Kumar Saxena CMD MOIL [Manganese Ore (india) Limited] and Addl Charge CMD MECON [Metallurgical & Engineering Consultants (India) Limited] was conferred with double honours--'Business Leader Of The Year' and 'CEO With HR Orientation' Awards at the 32nd World HRD Congress & Awards held in Mumbai, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The Awards were bestowed upon Ajit Kumar Saxena in recognition of his exemplary contribution to the industry and for his effective communication with employees and excellent innovations within HR practices.

Under the leadership of Ajit Kumar, the production at MOIL has increased to 14.33 lakh tonnes in the first 10 months of FY’23, registering a growth of 40% over CPLY, the highest production figure recorded in any financial year since the company's inception. On the sales front, the company has achieved a growth of 34% from April to January 2024 over CPLY.

Saxena graduated from IIT-BHU in Metallurgical Engineering in 1986. Earlier, he has served as Director (Operations) at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) for about three years.
