Aitana Bonmati: Spain star's Euros involvement still in doubt despite hospital discharge

Aitana Bonmati Spain Euros Euro England U21s

Two-time Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati has been discharged from hospital after being diagnosed with viral meningitis less than a week before Spain’s Euro 2025 opener.

The RFEF confirmed the 27-year-old will rejoin the camp ‘in the coming days’. The rest of the Spain squad will travel to Switzerland today.
