Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who turns a year older today, has a soul connection with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They collaborated on three masterpieces Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Guzaarish.
Then Bhansali offered Aishwarya an item song. Aishwarya turned down the item song in Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, because the lyrics were Thappad se nahin pyar se darr lagta hai, taken from the Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. Aishwarya requested Bhansali to change the words. He refused.
