AISA leader Neha detained during Delhi protest, demonstrators surround police bus

All India Students’ Association (AISA) national president Neha was reportedly detained by Delhi Police on Saturday, October 10, amid protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Protesters reportedly surrounded a police bus carrying Neha, other student leaders, and detained demonstrators near the Safdarjung Airport flyover in Delhi, attempting to prevent the vehicle from leaving the area. The confrontation took place as police continued to detain protesters attempting to gather in the national capital despite restrictions imposed ahead of the demonstration at Jantar Mantar.
