Airtel leads July mobile subscriber additions with 26.9 lakh users, Jio adds 24.5 lakh

Bharti Airtel led India's telecom industry in mobile subscriber additions in July, adding 26.88 lakh users, while market leader Reliance Jio added 24.46 lakh, according to data released by the sector regulator Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Friday.

Vodafone Idea also posted a net increase in its mobile subscriber base, adding 2.40 lakh users during the month. State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) added 1.68 lakh wireless subscribers.
