An Airdrie woman has been in shock after a gang of men were caught breaking into her chicken coop and 'kicking them like footballs.
The incident unfolded on private land near the town in the early hours of Tuesday and has left the animals 'absolutely terrified'. After being beaten and kicked, two Brahma chickens were stolen by the gang leaving their owner fearing that they were unlikely to have survived.
Kayleigh Neilson has shared footage of the five men, who are believed to be in their 30s and 40s, and is asking anyone who recognises the voices to contact the police, reports the Daily Record.
