Airdrie player-boss Rhys McCabe has secured the services of striker Gabby McGill for another season.
The Englishman has signed a one-year contract extension at New Broomfield having joined from Dunfermline Athletic last summer.
The 21-year-old made a telling contribution last term under former gaffer Ian Murray.
He scored seven goals in 18 starts and also netted the clincher in a dramatic play-off semi-final win over Montrose, as Airdrie came from 4-1 down in the tie with 20 minutes to go to win 6-5.
It was a campaign hit by injuries, though, and the Yorkshireman is looking forward to a fresh start in this season's League One.
After putting pen to paper, McGill told the Airdrie website: "I really enjoyed my time here last year.
"It was a bit of a bitty season with some injuries and stuff like that, but when I played I’d like to think I did well and I definitely gave everything.
“Overall all I just thoroughly enjoyed last year, so I’m more than happy.”
Player-manager Rhys McCabe added: "I’m delighted to have Gabby back.
"It was a bit of a mismatched season for him with injuries, so hopefully he can build on last season and get a good run of games.”
