An athletics coach who has given nearly 20 years’ service to the sport has been recognised.
Jim Glennie, of On the Run Cumbernauld and Airdrie Harriers, was awarded the jogscotland 20th Anniversary Achiever Award at the 4J scottishathletics and jogscotland annual awards in Glasgow at the end of last month.
Jim, 66, from Cumbernauld, has been running since the early 1980s, and a jog leader for more than a decade. He is also a committee member for Airdrie Harriers.
