Rhys McCabe has warned his Airdrie side that their thumping 4-0 win over Montrose will count for nothing if they don’t beat Clyde on Saturday.
The Diamonds bagged their first win in six League One games with the resounding win, courtesy of a Lewis Jamieson hat-trick and Craig Watson’s header, moving them up to sixth in the table.
They now head to second-bottom Clyde, who are on a run of 10 straight league defeats, which resulted in them sacking boss Danny Lennon on Monday evening, having placed him on paid authorised absence, with assistant Allan Moore in charge for their 2-1 defeat at Alloa.
