Aintree pints the dearest as one beer could cost £7.50

New research has revealed Aintree is the dearest racecourse for a pint. With the Grand National Festival having kicked off today, punters will be looking forward to its marquee race - The Grand National - on Saturday.

But anyone attending the Grand National Festival will find themselves having to stump up £7.50 for a pint of Madri, Staropramen, Guinness or Rekorderlig cider. Meanwhile, pints of Carling are on offer for a slightly cheaper price of £7.20.

Research from betting.com reveals that these prices make Aintree the UK’s most expensive racecourse when it comes to pints. Like Aintree, last month’s Cheltenham Festival is one of the most popular events on the racing calendar.
