Hibs winger Aiden McGeady reckons that team-mate Kevin Nisbet is good enough to earn a big move away from the club, after the striker hit a hat trick in Sunday's 3-2 win against Motherwell at Fir Park.
The 25-year-old has been in red-hot form since coming back from a long spell out on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, and has now scored five goals in five games for the Hibees.
The Scotland international had previously netted 27 goal in 81 appearances for the Leith side before his injury, but now looks to have come back an even better player, and will hope to earn a recall to Steve Clarke's squad when the qualifiers for EURO 2024 get underway in March. And now his Hibs team-mate Aiden McGeady, who set up the striker for the goal that sealed his hat trick on Sunday, says that Nisbet could earn a big move away from Easter Road if he can maintain his excellent run of form.

Speaking to Edinburgh Evening News, he said: "If he carries on playing the way he has been, there will be no shortage of suitors. I don’t want to be talking him into a move away from Hibs, but it’s only natural that these things happen."
Experienced winger McGeady then tipped his former club Celtic to make a move for the striker, as well as Old Firm rivals Rangers and some clubs in England. He added: "England or Celtic or Rangers? I don’t know but he’s been really good from what I’ve seen so far.
"I’ve clearly not played a lot with him but on Sunday, without having too much of the ball, he showed exactly what he can do."
Nisbet has scored once in his 10 caps for Scotland so far, and McGeady compared his play style to fellow national team striker Ross Stewart, whilst also explaining just how crucial the forward is to Lee Johnson and Hibs.
"I’d probably compare him [Nisbet] to Ross Stewart, in the respect that he’s got an eye for goal and his hold-up play is very good" McGeady added. "He doesn’t take a lot of touches and then turn or try to beat players when he has his back to goal.
“He’s clever and his movement is good – and he’s a good finisher. Plus he’s just back from an ACL injury and he’s scored five goals already, including a hat-trick in just five games. For us, he’s a massive player, because we need goals."
