Aidan Hutchinson is making a huge impact for the Detroit Lions defense as a rookie. In fact, Hutchinson is doing things that almost nobody has ever done before in NFL history in his first season.
With a half-sack and an interception in the first half of the Lions’ home matchup with the Chicago Bears, Hutchinson joined Pro Football Hall of Fame member Richard Dent for rookie defensive line production.
Hutchinson and Dent, who played for the Bears, are the only rookie defensive linemen in NFL history to hit at least 7.5 sacks, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries in their first years.
