AI to speed up cancer scan results from three weeks to three days in north-east London hospitals

Patients who have undergone cancer scans could see results within three days with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), a new report suggests.

According to the North East London NHS (NEL NHS), AI is being rolled out in local hospitals in the hope it can cut the amount of time residents have to wait for X-ray results from “three weeks to three days”, if they contain “significant findings”.
