AI to help crush online fraud

DES DES Ministry Economy

Wisit Wisitsora-at, newly appointed permanent secretary for digital economy and society (DES), says his priority task is to stamp out rampant fraudulent activity online.

The National Interbank Transaction Management and Exchange (ITMX) platform installed with artificial intelligence (AI) tech can be leveraged to counter online fraud, illegal transactions and mule accounts, he said.
