AI powers growing threat to Australia's energy networks

Australia's energy system faces a growing cyber threat as criminals weaponise artificial intelligence technology to launch more attacks and exploit vulnerabilities faster.

Online security firm CrowdStrike revealed the extent of the trend on Tuesday in a report into online threats, which found AI agents were triggering more than twice as many attacks as humans.
