AI-generated nude images are rapidly turning into a widespread form of sexual abuse, with women and girls finding their faces stripped and 'nudified' in fabricated images that look real enough to ruin reputations long before schools, platforms or police are ready to step in.
Although the images are synthetic, the consequences for victims are real. They can face humiliation, harassment, threats, blackmail and reputational damage, while trying to persuade schools, police and technology companies to act.
