AHMEDABAD: A 22-year-old woman from the Juhapura area of the city on Sunday filed a complaint against a man alleging that he raped her in a moving bus towards Kutch and also in a hotel in the Ellisbridge area of the city.
The woman said in her FIR with Ellisbridge police that she met with an accident in March, and she was in dire need of money. At that time, the accused Irfan Ansari was introduced to her by a common friend as a moneylender. She said that Ansari had then given her Rs 10,000 which she returned in a month only.
But Ansari continued to meet her and once took her obscene pictures . Using those pictures, he blackmailed her and demanded to have sex with her, mentioned the complaint. Ansari took her to Bhuj in Kutch in a private bus in which he allegedly raped her in a sleepers' coach on June 9. They then stayed in a hotel. The woman said that she was stupefied and raped again in a hotel in the Ellisbridge When She later approached police and filed a complaint of rape against Ansari.
