Ahmedabad: Infant loses glans in botched circumcision

Ahmedabad AHMEDABAD

AHMEDABAD: The glans of an infant’s penis shriveled and fell off after a quack tied a horse’s hair around it ‘to prevent bleeding’ after a ritual of circumcision.

The child was rushed to hospital, where a surgery was performed to ensure that the baby will be able to urinate normally, but the boy has lost his glans.
