Agriculture Minister to push for farming exemption from net-zero target

Northern Ireland’s Agriculture Minister has suggested he will push for the sector to be exempt from a new net-zero carbon target.

Edwin Poots hit out at “stupidity” after a majority of MLAs voted for an amendment to his climate change Bill to set a target of net-zero emissions by 2050.
