Dominic Raab is facing a fresh claim of bullying from an anti-Brexit campaigner who alleges the deputy prime minister launched an “abusive attack” on her.
Gina Miller said Mr Raab was “intimidating” during an “aggressive encounter” when they were at a BBC studio for a Brexit debate. But a source close to Mr Raab, who denies multiple allegations of bullying staff, said her account was “baseless”.
Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak remains under pressure over what he knew about Mr Raab’s behaviour when appointing him as deputy PM and Justice Secretary. The Times reported that Cabinet Secretary Simon Case was personally informed of a written complaint against Mr Raab months before his reappointment as Justice Secretary.
