'Agent Leo' - Arsenal transfer theory emerges as Trossard spotted with potential Edu target

It is no secret that Arsenal fans love a good transfer theory.

From Jack Grealish to Jude Bellingham, the Gunners faithful need very little to convince themselves that they will be making a move for a player they haven't even been linked to. But one youngster the north Londoners are said to be keen on signing is Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.

Speaking on his YouTube channel last weekend, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said: "Romeo Lavia is attracting very important interest. He is a top talent as a midfielder.

"Let me say one thing, the buy-back clause for Manchester City is in the contract starting from summer 2024, not now, this is why Man City do not have full control over Lavia this upcoming summer. Other clubs are interested, Arsenal are keeping an eye on the player, Arsenal are following Romeo Lavia, at the moment it’s nothing advanced."

Now, Lavia has been pictured alongside Arsenal attacker and fellow Belgian international Leandro Trossard, which has of course led to Gunners supporters theorising that the latter is convincing the former to join Mikel Arteta's side this summer. Here is what a select few on Twitter said.

@afcstuff: "Leandro Trossard & reported Arsenal target Romeo Lavia after the final whistle of Belgium’s 3-2 friendly win over Germany last night. (Belgium flag) Agent Leo? (Eyes emoji) #afc."

@N5AlexJT: "Yes please, Leo do your thing."

@iamdgolden1: "Agent trossard."

@TomIsBias: "Another arsenal player being an agent for transfer targets."

@kendrickmclare1: "Trossard doing the business."

@kach_ty: "Bring him to arsenal @LTrossard."
